INFANT CARE AND EDUCATION

Our infant teachers provide responsive, trustworthy care and developmentally appropriate activities for our youngest learners. Infants' schedules are individualized. Families provide their baby's feeding and napping schedule.  CDS Teachers plan intentional activities to assist babies develop and reach their next milestone, including skills such as rolling over, sitting independently, standing, walking, learning to eat, and grasping objects. 
Toys that encourage infants to explore cause and effect relationships foster children's cognitive development and fine motor skills.
Babies' socioemotional development is fostered by providing responsive, trustworthy and high-quality care.
Music and movement is infused in our infant curriculum.
Infant classrooms have a variety of age and developmentally appropriate toys and activities.
Through developmentally appropriate activities, babies begin to develop fine motor muscles and hand/eye coordination.
"Tummy time" is essential in supporting babies' physical and muscular development.
Toys that encourage infants to explore cause and effect relationships foster children's cognitive development and fine motor skills.
Music and movement is an important part of our infant curriculum.
Outdoor play is an important component of our infant curriculum.
Toys that make noise or music engage infants' interest and encourage exploration.
Creative art is incorporated in our infant curriculum.
We love "Tummy Time!"
Infants love singing and dancing. Music activities are incorporated throughout the day.
We love taking our babies for walks outside for some fresh air.
Infants love exploring books. Teachers frequently read to babies, which is important in aiding early speech development and word comprehension.
